Not quite. There is immense power in deciding what data to train on. You can create vastly different models, and we are not always aligned with Chinese goals. Plus, it would be yet another dependency on China.

All he’s trying to do here, is play for time to get people to stay invested in the US but move out of US businesses himself and into longer term assets like gold. He’s playing the “panic” and “china bad” cards to do it. Don’t believe him and divest. Do it before the US crashes.

In my experience there is a huge gap between those that are smart and enthusiastic and those that are just average. I consider myself part of the former group and I can’t blame coworkers for just doing their job and go home. But it means the gap just widens.

This is probably the worst thing Trump has done so far. This 15% minimum tax deal was way too little, but still one of the best things that happened in the last few years. Now we are back in a race to the bottom. Only the rich will win.

I don’t know if these anti Nazi laws have ever been enforced in a rigorous manner. And most politicians are too afraid of doing it because the Nazis have growing support by the people. I’m pretty sure they could do more to fight the afd legally. But then again, they could also do more to satisfy voters, so they don’t vote for extremist. Both is never going to happen.

Not sure what these internal connections are, but Displayport is both a plug and a protocol. You can use the protocol over thunderbolt and maybe other connections as well.

It depends on the displayport version. DP 1.2 only supports 4k. DP 1.4 supports more. So if it’s an older display that only supports DP 1.2, you have to use the two screens hack. I never tried that, though.
