Well, Germany is still actively supporting a genocide, and their car industry is probably supplying a not-insignificant amount of funds for that.
I see. Thanks for the link! I might try out immich once they have a stable version, but I might try out ente before that
What’s better about immich? I haven’t used either
Just that the vegetables in this case are actually fastfood and gummibears.
Surely your device is supported by another option among Graphene, e, or iode?
The current stable version of PopOS is pretty outdated because they’re working on a big overhaul
Look cool! I think you should consider putting a screenshot of the UI somewhere near the top of the README

This. There’s plenty of stuff that can go wrong just exposing your stuff to the open internet.
I think a lot of peope understandably misunderstand this post because it doesn’t really explain the situation. After reading OP’s comments I gather that OP put a new server online (not on AWS) and was immediately port scanned by a host that is on AWS. Since OP did not consent to being port scanned, they filled out an abuse complaint with AWS, the hoster the scan came from, out of principle, knowing that it probably won’t do much. Which is totally fine if that is how you want to spend your time.
I think what most commenters thought is that OP was hosting with AWS and complained to them that someone else scanned their server. This does not seem to be the case.
I didn’t see it in the list, so I recommend Breakout 71. It’s a lot of fun!
Audiobookshelf has very basic support for ebooks but it doesn’t compare to specialised software. Kavita has better management, and it comes with a built-in OPDS server so you can use any ebook app that supports that. I also don’t know if Audiobookshelf can actually be used for ebooks without having it as an audiobook as well, never tried it.
I suspect that’s something that would need to be brought up either with the developers of the specific program that handles keyboard inputs or languages, if it cannot be changed in general. Or with the individual Desktop Environment projects that create the GUIs to change the underlying settings, if that setting just is not exposed graphically. Unfortunately I don’t know what those would be, but maybe it can help point into a more precise direction for further research. I doubt that it is an issue that goes as deep as the Linux kernel being involved. (Take it with a grain of salt though, I’m mostly speculating.)
Edit: in a quick search I found this thread with a possible solution: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/trying-to-change-dead-key-behaviour-im-stumped/85029
Thanks!
What filters are you using in pihole to filter the fire stick ads?
You could use a Samsung Tablet with Dex that supports the Samsung pen, and connect a portable monitor to it. There are decent portable monitors under $100, certainly enough for watching lectures. The two displays wouldn’t be connected by a hinge but by a usb C cable. In return the display sizes and orientations wouldn’t have to be the same. If the portable monitor doesn’t support touch, I recommend throwing a bluetooth mouse into the mix to make navigation easier.
Edit: I could also confirm it working with an iPad (Air, M1) and said portable display. But iOS forces you to connect a bluetooth mouse and keyboard to be able to extend the display instead of mirroring it.
If you own a kindle reader you can just connect it via usb and dedrm the kfx files.
To play devils advocate here, a bad translation of the post might interpret the first half of the sentence as “they should keep murdering you” instead of “even if they keep murdering you”. But it’s Facebook, so they could also just be on the fascists’ side.
Awesome! Just tried out the iOS app, it looks really nice! It seems to have some quirks with local downloads, like not showing any download progress anywhere, and not being able to download some episodes despite being able to play them. But it looks like there is finally going to be an iOS podcast app that can sync through the gpodder API and that’s amazing. If it has a solid offline mode (syncing progress properly after going back online) it might replace AntennaPod on Android for me as well
