Good to hear thanks. And proton has worked well for 6? (Steamdeck i assume is using proton not native linux?). We still play V, when they broke mac/windows crossplay I had to install bootcamp to continue playing with my friends. But the family iMac I did that on definitely won’t run 7, so was looking into building a linux tower I could use instead and would strongly prefer not to deal with windows.
Any confirmation of linux/windows crossplay?
Maybe he was just practicing what he preached? https://marshallbrain.com/youve-had-your-turn-the-case-for-euthanizing-everyone-at-age-65
Same here. Sonic fiber and I’ve had 0 issues. Pay less now than I did for much much slower cable internet before and I think we’ve had 1 maintenance and 1 outage in the last 4 years. Just checked speed test on my modem and it 941 down 942 up.
Live music archive is still down for example 😞
What’s wrong with the tongue test for 9 volts? I know it tickles some but is it actually harmful? I’ve been doing that for over 30 years…
I used to read it while pooping as a perl programmer at one of my first jobs
That seems more like an argument for free higher education rather than restricting what corpuses a deep learning model can train on
I take it you don’t understand how startups work?
OpenAI is not making any profit and is losing money hand over fist today. Valuation and raising investment rounds isn’t profit.
Eh? That article says nothing about their profit margins. Today they have something like $3.5B in ARR (not really, that’s annualized from their latest peak, in Feb they had like $2B ARR). Meanwhile they have operating costs over $7B. Meaning they are losing money hand over fist and not making a profit.
I’m not suggesting anything else, just that they are not profitable and personally I don’t see a road to profitability beyond subsidizing themselves with investment.
OpenAI is burning billions of dollars not making profit.

Also revoke the key of course
Not OP but I’ve noticed a lot of racists, extreme right nationalists, religious chauvinists, etc. Which sucks because the concept is quite cool and I’d love to be able to jump from one question to the next, but pretty quickly I get irritated and have to close it.
I live upon morsels you happen to drop
This regulation (and similar being proposed in California) would not be applied retroactively.
All my own OSS stuff I always release MIT licensed because I want to be able to use the libraries in my closed source job.
Can you explain more? Don’t leave me hanging…
(((Truth)))

Ughhh that was my fear. Haven’t built a desktop in probably 20 years. I definitely worry about the time sink mostly in deciding every component, researching if it’ll work with linux, sourcing it, hoping it’s authentic, etc. Any recent guides you could recommend if I have to go down that route?
