Not even that,I have like 5-10 programs I use regularly and I have those pinned. Only knew they changed that thing due to postings here on Lemmy.
Why is everybody so obsessed with tweaking and customizing an OS?! My systems are pretty much vanilla and apart from the file browser I hardly use any active OS features.
My printer worked out of the box under Windows no driver or anything needed. Maybe I got lucky.
I think for many people, me included the OS is more or less invisible bc I use so few OS elements. File browser and that’s it. Hardly any other gui feature comes to mind that isn’t a third party program.
For me it’s simply laziness, and the fact that I don’t use the OS apart from explorer. I think that’s the thing for a lot of people the actively use so few parts of the OS that the question wether the OS is intrusive, bloatware free or efficient isn’t part of their concern. They, me included, don’t tinker, don’t optimize, don’t script etc. I just start the programs thati use. I probably will give Linux another go with my next PC build though.
Probably just the beeple ones? Or are they all worthless as well?
Yeah please do, I will just stop using YouTube and that would be a good thing.
Well but for me that might just be okay having a substitute for my discussion and feed scrolling needs is all I need don’t need it to be the dominant platform. Just need it to be active enough that it doesn’t die down.
Yeah they are continuously slowing down Firefox and I see a future where I will simply stop using YouTube.i thank them in advance for when that day comes
