Summary

Israel and other US allies are reportedly concerned Elon Musk may pose a security risk, fearing he could share sensitive information.

These concerns arose amid at least three federal security reviews into Musk and SpaceX for failing to comply with protocols protecting national security.

The US Air Force recently denied Musk high-security clearance, and Israel’s Defense Ministry labeled him a “wild card” during discussions about his Starlink network.

Musk’s contacts with foreign leaders, including calls with Vladimir Putin, and past controversies have heightened scrutiny over his actions and potential risks.

Huh, interesting how all these… *checks notes… Sovereign States have taken this long to figure out what regular ass people have been screaming has been a problem for at least five fucking years now. That an untrustworthy individual in charge of millions of people’s data via Xitter and in control of a large ISP as well as having major defense contracts with the US is probably a bad thing for everyone, everywhere.

How are these leaders always so fucking myopic? They never care about an issue until it’s too fucking late to be fighting it.

lol yeah possibly the worst whataboutism I’ve seen in a long time, arguing which social media billionaire is the worst as an argument in support of one social media billionaire

My point is that people are far too apathetic about these things. Yes it’s a problem on X, but I’d sure love to see people recognize the same problems elsewhere instead of spreading their legs for anyone who mumbles vague platitudes towards their own pet issues.

          They “trust me,” dumb fucks
