Summary
Israel and other US allies are reportedly concerned Elon Musk may pose a security risk, fearing he could share sensitive information.
These concerns arose amid at least three federal security reviews into Musk and SpaceX for failing to comply with protocols protecting national security.
The US Air Force recently denied Musk high-security clearance, and Israel’s Defense Ministry labeled him a “wild card” during discussions about his Starlink network.
Musk’s contacts with foreign leaders, including calls with Vladimir Putin, and past controversies have heightened scrutiny over his actions and potential risks.
Well, this is the natural result of Israel (thru AIPAC and other venues) bribing politicians from both sides to turn a blind eye to genocide.
Regardless of who won, we would have ended up with a president willing to take bribes to not only ignore but support a genocide…
Who is actually surprised they’ll keep putting money above morals? All someone has to do is pay more than Israel
A reminder for those not from the United States: bribing politicians in the United States is perfectly legal, and the standard operating procedure.
It’s just not called a bribe, because that is a crime that only poor people would be charged with. If you’re a large corporation or a billionaire, it’s automatically legalized for you. In fact, you’re considered extremely stupid and foolish for not bribing as many politicians as possible.
In the US, we call it “lobbying“
But it’s not legal to come from a foreign government…
AIPAC’s predecessor had to register as a foreign agent, which placed restrictions on how much they could give.
In response AIPACs first bribes was to the people who determine what organization is an agent of a foreign government, so AIPAC hasn’t had to register as one.

it doesn’t change the fact that it’s legalized bribery
Good thing no one said it wasn’t…
If there wasn’t so many insults in that comment, I’d try and explain what you’re misunderstanding.

You’re just a tool of the oligarchy. How proud you must be of that.
Do you understand that the person you’re responding to didn’t suggest that anything AIPAC did was right or that they support them in any way?
Why are you attacking someone who seems to agree with you? If there was some other comment that actually voiced support for the oligarchs, or Israel, or the genocide, you should attack them in response to that comment.

Huh, interesting how all these… *checks notes… Sovereign States have taken this long to figure out what regular ass people have been screaming has been a problem for at least five fucking years now. That an untrustworthy individual in charge of millions of people’s data via Xitter and in control of a large ISP as well as having major defense contracts with the US is probably a bad thing for everyone, everywhere.
How are these leaders always so fucking myopic? They never care about an issue until it’s too fucking late to be fighting it.
an untrustworthy individual in charge of millions of people’s data via Xitter
As compared to all the trustworthy individuals running other social media sites?
Not the point and that’s a shit take
lol yeah possibly the worst whataboutism I’ve seen in a long time, arguing which social media billionaire is the worst as an argument in support of one social media billionaire
Yeah the other ones support Israeli genocide but we don’t know if musk will, so now this is an “issue”
My point is that people are far too apathetic about these things. Yes it’s a problem on X, but I’d sure love to see people recognize the same problems elsewhere instead of spreading their legs for anyone who mumbles vague platitudes towards their own pet issues.
They “trust me,” dumb fucks
As opposed to Trump, who’s so trustworthy and predictable.
“We are afraid that Elon Musk will blackmail us because he has intimate knowledge of our extensive crimes.”
Aint it grand how the genocide state has an opinion on this and media is covering it equal weight as US air force?
