understand them dudes completely. used to be a online poker pro, way back when. even if it were somehow possible again to achieve globally wide player base, easy money in/out, etc., there is no way I would trust the system even for micro-stakes. the stuff achievable back then with shit core 2 duo hardware was insane, today with the tech available for pocket change the whole thing is a non-starter. also, securing and maintaining server infra is a complex and expensive job, I can’t even begin to list the points of failure for guaranteeing the enduser’s system is kosher.
