Yeah that’s how you break your phone. Perfect example of taking advantage of the platform though.

if the phone is rated for 10k folds then it shouldn’t be an issue

It the video the guy makes unfolding motion 25 times in 20 seconds. If your phone is rated for 10k folds you can get at least 2.5 hours of gameplay from that /s

i didn’t watch the video in the article and thought it was the end of the fold motion instead of the unfold motion

That’s hilarious. I wish it was on the App Store since I have a couple old phone with broken screens and backs that could vie for the record.

I think the problem was how I used it. The fault I had isn’t a common one.

Foldable hinge. Good for 10k folds, or 30 minutes of foldy bird.

5½ flaps per second is impressive; you must be playing Foldy Hummingbird.

It’s true rsi is far more likely to kick in before hinge failure.

That’s hilarious. Great way to stress test those hinges. Hope someone records how many hours the hinges held up to playing foldy bird.

I love unique implementations of things for specialized technology, I don’t like how this will probably shorten the phone’s lifespan to about 3 months.

    Fun concept though!
