it feels like a “web app” more than a website. Like, it somehow needs to “load” after loading the page… unlike classic forum softwares that just instantly show the pre-rendered page.

I kind of like this behavior. If you’re writing a complex website with user posts, comments, tags, and other nifty stuff and want it to stay modular it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll end up with this loading behavior (unless you want to SSR everything).

ui also feels way too ‘simple’, hard to navigate and has low info density. i guess this is how more people nowadays prefer things to work

Don’t know about that, I find it easy to navigate with the consistent sidebar elements. Searching for posts is easy since they’re usually well tagged and have good titles. Searching for solutions and checking out community contributions and votes is about 90% of my use case for a forum. Maybe you have different use cases.

feature packed with a really clean and user friendly UI + each distro can easily customize it to add lots of their own brand identity (Manjaro especially appreciates this).

I don’t have a problem with it not loading correctly, and it loads quickly even on somewhat slow internet (using Firefox).

I completely agree. What I meant was: Anyone who wasn’t too interested in the Palestinian cause might have thought it was possible, but now it’s clear to everyone.

It seems the majority of people here actually believe that without Hamas Israel would just stop invading and pull out. This might have been wishful thinking a while ago, but right now this is called delusion, as we’ve seen what happens when you tell Israel you won’t attack and are willing to cooperate for the benefit of both sides (Syria and Lebanon).

While I hope Hamas doesn’t get to keep ruling Gaza, Uprooting the only government that has some weapons and is willing to point them towards the invading army instead of its people doesn’t seem like an effective way to make life in Gaza better or safer. Just ask the West bank.

The DEs practically everyone is using - minus Cinnamon, for now - have great Wayland support and have Wayland as the default session. Other smaller DEs and WMs have it on their roadmap.

The PA thinks that whatever Israel will leave them when they’re done stealing land will be more than what they’ll get fighting against the worldwide conspiracy. They actually believe that if all groups in Palestine had agreed to one of the past agreements and it went smoothly, they’d have proper borders and live relatively peacefully neighboring Israel, even with everything going on with countries Israel considers established, sovereign countries.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of them think what they’re doing is right, noble, and in the best interest of the whiny ungrateful fighters.

Right click for play/pause, and left click does absolutely nothing. Don’t know who though of that.

Rule lawyering doesn’t really take you that far regarding this issue because wigs are explicitly forbidden and hair extensions that try to imitate actual hair are forbidden, and the people using them are cursed. The hair extension rule, according to most interpretations applies to all kinds of materials that are attached to the hair and look like it, so maybe you can just not attach it to your hair directly, but I can’t see how that might help.

Most interpretations forbid dying it black specifically. It’s recommended that white hair be dyed with henna, which is orange.
